I'm Alex, founder of LeaseLink. The story started with one Word document that ate my afternoon — and the realization that Israeli landlords deserve a better tool.
Why I built LeaseLink
I kept seeing the same story play out: an Israeli landlord downloads a contract template from Google, fills it manually in Word, prints it, meets the tenant in person — the template usually isn't updated to the latest law, half an hour of editing, the wording isn't always legally sound, convert to PDF, send by email, the tenant prints and signs — or worse, has to take a day off just to come sign in person.
I focused on maximum convenience: a contract that's kept current with legal updates — when the landlord is required to fix things, basic habitability conditions, and so on — plus the legal piece: the signature meets Level-2 requirements (a secure electronic signature), and after signing you can easily verify whether anything in the contract has been changed.
I listen carefully to my customers, and if a request is legitimate, I do my best to ship the improvement as fast as possible.
